Issue 5: Finding Comfort Zones
Prioritizing Self-care for Equity
Self-care is mindful practice. And equitable learning practice promotes community building, increases self-worth, and nurtures an environment that appreciates comfort zones, diverse identities and cultural values to address systemic inequities.
If stress, anxiety, unpredictability about work or study are factors that constrain learning and well-being then, What does self-care mean to you? How do you practice self-care? What should we do to prioritize self-care while learning? How do we gain confidence, motivation, and clarity to improve learning? Do you have any helpful resources to share with the community?
