Amar Khaira is a Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) major at UBC Okanagan from Malaysia. He is deeply passionate about fostering intellectual growth in academic space by encouraging difficult conversation on controversial topics. He dedicates much of both his studies and free time to exploring and discussing these issues, utilizing the multidisciplinary perspective the PPE program presents. Amar is currently the Vice President of the Politics, Philosophy and Economics Course Union and the President of the Malaysian Student Association at UBC Okanagan.
